Norway,
at fjord speed.
Small, hand-built campervans for the long way round. Pull over for the light. Cook dinner with a view of the water.
“A campervan should feel less like a vehicle, and more like a tiny cabin
you can take anywhere.”
— Fjord Campers, Founding Principle
We offer three types of hand-converted campervans from a little
corner of Bergen — close enough to the airport to make pick-up easy, far enough
from the city to feel like the trip has already started.
Our vans come fully stocked with everything you need: a full kitchen
(stove, sink & fridge), a thermostat heater, bedding and everything in between.
Norway rewards the traveller who takes their time. Our vans are compact
enough for narrow mountain roads and cozy enough for long evenings inside.
Three values that shape everything.
Pillar — 01
Cozy by design.
Our vans are small homes, not transport. Wood, warm light, soft textiles, a kettle on the stove. Comfort isn’t a luxury — it’s the whole point.
Pillar — 02
Local and honest.
We are based in Bergen, not behind a global brand. We answer our own phones, hand over our own keys, and recommend the places we actually love.
Pillar — 03
Built for the slow road.
Norway isn’t a country you rush through. Every van, every map, every route we suggest is an invitation to take longer, stop more often, stay a bit later.

Last year we had a wonderful opportunity to talk with France 5 TV
(Youtube @EchappeesBellesOfficiel) about our experience living and traveling
in Norway. We showed why renting a campervan is the best way to
experience this beautiful country.

This question has a simple answer! The earlier you reserve, the more likely it is that you will be able to select the campervan of your choice and have the freedom to select the precise dates you desire.
In Norway, the peak travel period runs from the end of May to the end of September. If your travel dates fall within this time frame, we advise that you secure your van at least three to five months in advance. We typically sell out on 70% of the available dates before the end of April.
It’s also crucial to remember that the earlier you book, the better the pricing! For “Early bird” deals, be sure to check out our Deals & Discounts page!
Please send us an e-mail to info@fjordcampers.no with your request and reservation number.
It’s important for us to inform you that our rental location operates on an appointment-only basis. To ensure the best service, we kindly request that you adhere to your scheduled pick-up time. Should your plans change, we are more than happy to accommodate adjustments to your pick-up time after your booking is confirmed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any rescheduling needs.

If you’re coming from Bergen Center or the train station, the light rail offers a direct and convenient route. Take the light rail towards the airport, and disembark at the final stop at the airport.
